Marriott Hotel Background Music System
The Beijing Marriott Hotel project is located on Jianguomen South Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It consists of four ABCD towers and is integrated into a whole Dongcheng District landmark. Among them, Tower A and Tower B are all on the 21th floors, while Towers C and D are on the 17th floors. The building has a total construction area of 135,000 square meters and covers an area of about 1.14 hectares. Among them, A and D are office buildings, which have been put into use since 2013.
The project solution involves weak current integrated wiring technology(ELV), Intelligent Security Systems, IT Network Infrastructure Construction, Multimedia Conference Room Construction, and VPN Headquarters Interconnection System.
Customer-focused Application Needs
Client need to play background music in a loop in the hotel lobby. When the ceiling is 9m above the ground, they also need to ensure the sound quality and color effect of the background music.
Project Implementation and Key Account Experience
As the empty area of the hotel lobby is relatively high, the ceiling is as high as 9m from the ground, which is far from reaching the ceiling audio coverage. While ensuring the background music, it is also necessary to avoid high-density covering with noise and echo, and it is very rare to make the effect of the wall-mounted audio without affecting the aesthetics of the overall layout.
In order to meet the needs of clients and ensure the experience of major clients, our company selected the ceiling-mounted custom ceiling speakers with a nominal 90 ° or 180 ° horizontal coverage designed near the wall after the overall testing of the technical department and the evaluation of local equipment one by one. The surroundings of the installation can project high frequencies into the entire room, up to a distance of 20m, and cover the hotel lobby up to 9m in height. The high-frequency compression unit is then used to provide better sound quality effects, frequency response and coverage continuity, so that the product's functions can restore music in full frequency bands and also have very high speech intelligibility and recognition capabilities, thus successfully completing this project in client's individual needs.
